FAQs
How long does the NVQ assessment process take?
This depends on a few factors, such as:
- NVQ category
- Candidate
- Candidate workload
To give an example, for a level 6 (manager role) it might take the candidate a few more weeks to gather their work evidence than a level 2. But our assessors are flexible and can tailor around your workload.
Do I need to take time off work for assessments?
No. Our assessors come to your worksite and observe you during normal working hours, minimising disruption to your schedule.
What if I’m self-employed or between jobs?
We have flexible options for self-employed professionals, including arranging assessment opportunities on suitable sites within our network.
How much paperwork is involved?
Minimal. Your assessor handles most of the documentation and guides you through any paperwork required for your portfolio.
What does the assessment cost include?
This depends on the category. Your assessor will discuss pricing with you during your free consultation. Fixed category prices include all assessment visits, portfolio development, verification, certification, and card application support.
